Re: Senate Judiciary voting to amend Bill of Right

On January 19, 1853, Mr. Badger of the Senate Judiciary Committee prepared this report as part of a Congressional investigation. Benjamin Franklin Morris, The Christian Life and Character of the Civil Institutions of the United States.

"We are a Christian people...not because the law demands it, not to gain exclusive benefits or to avoid legal disabilities, but from choice and education; and in a land thus universally Christian, what is to be expected, what desired, but that we shall pay due regard to Christianity.”

I thought these Democrats took an oath to preserve and protect the Constitution, including the Bill of Rights?

I hope these bums are voted out of office. This is unacceptable.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but they can't actually touch the amendment (repeal/amend) without the House passing it also AND without State legislatures ratifying it, right?

If so, what a waste of time...but good to know that the Democrat Party is now fully against free speech, free religion, free assembly and free press.

Not questioning the veracity of your statement, but please plainly state exactly what the unanimous, "No" vote by the Democrats in the U.S. Senate is about.

I know it is incorrect grammar, but I am at work.

It's not a hoax. Democrats are trying to repeal 1A in order to overturn the SCOTUS ruling on campaign finance. They want to take out free speech in order to make sure they can control the money train.

In doing so, they're not just taking away free speech, but also free press, free religion and free assembly.
