Shots Fired at US Capital Building

A police officer was reported injured after gunshots at the U.S. Capitol, police said Thursday while putting the entire complex on lockdown.

"There are reports of injuries," said Terrance Gainer, the Senate's Sergeant at Arms.

Capitol police said Thursday that shots were reported fired outside the Capitol and all staffers were warned to stay inside and away from doors.

“There’s a report of gunfire on Capitol Hill. If you are in an office building, shelter in place,” an audio message broadcast to Capitol offices said, also warning those on the grounds outside to seek cover. All building entrances were locked down and police said nobody was allowed to come or go.

I blame obummer, Reid, Pelosi, and that idiot Congressman who said the Republicans were waging a Jihad - Rep. George Miller, D-Calif. He should be censured for his despicable comment.

Really?

I blame the police for over-reacting.
I blame the woman for over-reacting.

Then part of me really doesn't even want to blame the woman as I question the entire explanation of how the events unfolded that led to the death of this woman.

I look at the police response to the Boston terrorist bombing-- the lock down of an entire city.

I look at the police response to this event.

There are other stories about police in general.

I really think that our country is in trouble.

I see this beautiful young Afro-American lady was protesting Obama. I think her PPD clouded her judgment, but it is obvious she valued freedom. This has got to be an embarrassment to the Democrats. My prayers go out to her family.
