Let the government "shut down"

Let the clock run out. If the Senate Dems get enough votes for cloture, vote down the House bill, and then put the ball back in the House's court, the House should then repass their bill of last week and resend it to the Senate. They should then declare....

We have fulfilled our obligation of funding the government. Due to overwhelming public opposition to Obamacare, we have voted not to include that program in said government funding. We would like to now point out that the Senate Democrats and the White House are ignoring the cries of the American people , and are telling the American people that they will shut down the Federal Government unless the people drop their opposition to Obamacare and submit to the will of the White house and Democrat Party. Having fulfilled our obligations, we now call on the Senate and White House to yield to the true masters of this republic, the people.

Then they should let the chips fall where they may. This so called "shut down" won't be felt any more than the sequester was. If Obama then threatens to withhold Social security checks or military pay, he will look very bad. We can win this fight.

I agree, shut it down. I remember the doom and gloom the left was screaming about before the gov. shutdown during Clinton's presidency. If I remember right, the world didn't end. The left is already screaming the same stuff. Shut it down. it will be alright.
