Don't talk about oneness pentecostals (circa 1913) like that!! Granted, they may be in error here and there but they're still mostly good folks.

Hateful people are in all walks of life....my sister's are ex-pentecostal and they are as sweet as they can be. Both are Baptists! We get along fine and really I have never known people not to get along with them. A few have tried to pronounce judgement on them however they just smile and don't fuss.
Do I wish for them to see things like I do? Yes, of course but each one of us has a choice to make. Kindness is a hard thing for people to hate....so be kind....no matter how much you differ and if someone is not kind to you be kind to them anyway....
We do not know what someone is going through....maybe they are hurt and broken...maybe they are bitter by some experience...Who knows the sorrows of others?
Maybe they have been mistreated, misjudged....
What is truth? An old question but is still asked by many each passing day....what is truth to you may be a lie to someone else.
I received a call a couple weeks ago from a pastor's wife that pastor the church across town that really does everything they can to hurt us...but that does not mean that everyone that goes there is bad or evil...in fact it is a split off our church and even the pastor and co pastor were once in our church.
The sister said (pastor's wife) missionary can my children and I come spend the day with you? Of course I said yes. I really admire her, love her and her oldest little girl always calls me grandma....We had a wonderful day together...the kids played...we talked and talked...laughed....not once did we focus on our differences...
Some people get the attitude everyone is against them...and that becomes a BIG problem...
I know lots of people almost hate women preachers especially in the crowd we run with however few times have I ever felt this personally against me...If that is the way they see the Bible that is their business and they can rest assured I would not try to even testify in their churches unless they called on me...so we focus on other things...
Are there people I don't care for? Of course....We are all human. However in passing smile...you are not obligated to be buddy buddy with people that you don't care for....
Sometimes we make our own problems....

and I am not saying there are NOT bad eviil people and churches that are cults....There are times we do have to speak up against something or some practice....we almost got involved deeply with a group that are very much a cult but at the time we could not see it....
But like Larry Philips, said...It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved...

Yep. It's as simple as this.
I remember my Dad complaining about a preacher friend who went "charismatic" and my parents subsequently didn't hear from him for years. They had tried contacting him to no avail--he cut off all contact with his previous friends. My parents were very hurt by it. They didn't agree with his choices, but they still considered themselves friends. I guess they were wrong.
Sometimes people are rude as a preemptive strike. They assume that others are going to be judgmental or argumentative so they put walls up or completely avoid situations and people. I've seen this happen in several instances where people left the church and then THEY were the ones who didn't want to talk at the store or make eye contact in the post office.

Everyone is a sinner. All of us have sinful things in our hearts and lives. Sometimes those things are passed under the blood, forgiven, and dealt with.... and sometimes they are kept hidden in a secret place in our hearts. But know this... that at the most inopportune time, hidden sins will come to light... for all of us.
No matter who you are.... we all have the ability in our natural human nature to be hateful and mean.
It boils down to our will... do we allow our will to be submitted to the spirit of Christ to reign in our life, or do we allow the ugly human nature that we all possess to reign?
