Reformation Generation Recap

Rod Parsley's Reformation Generation was the best youth crusade I've ever been to by far. The line up was phenominal Greg Hill Ron Luce, Ronnie Harrison, Rod Parsley. Music by Barlow Girl, Fifth Avenue Jones, Sonic Flood, Ty Tribett. Tribett preached the Sunday night service. Tribbet is a great singer, but his preaching is 100 times better than his singing. Legalists cuold take a page from Tribett on how to peach on holiness. Tribett did a few songs with the youth band. High octance worship.

One of the theme's of the conference was to live what's on the inside. You can be saved, but if you are not living it, you won't be saved for long. Young people from all over the world were challenged to make an impact and change a generation. When the inside changes, the generation changes, when the generation changes, a culture changes. When the culture changes, the world is turned upside down.

My kids have been impacted have a renewed sense of passion for the purpose. I'm jealous because at their age they are making a bigger impact for Christ with more parental and pastoral support.

He must have did the same sermon in Columbus.. minus TD Jakes. He did mention hip hop stars by name and the negative impact they have on culture.

Yes, he mention Jakes having hip hop stars including Beyonce
and the compromise he sees in the church as a result.
I was shocked because jakes was flying him out on a regular basis to work with his youth choir. something must have gone down there.

TY Also mentioned Fred Hammond and other Gospel artist as those who have compromised with the whole hip hop scene

He is light years ahead of us. The upc is an average of 5-7 years behind cultural relevance. By the time they "get it" culture has moved on. I decided my children aren't going to wait 5-10 years to be culturally relevant. I'm training my children to culturally relevant so they can inlfuence culture and turn this generation towards Christ.

At the risk of hijacking my own thread, when pentecostals compromise, they call it going charismatic. What do they call charismatics who compromise?
