GWB Won't Be at the GOP Convention...

GWB won't be at the GOP convention. Anyone want to speculate why a former GOP President would not support his party now at such a crucial time in history?

Has GWB ABANDONED the GOP?

and just where is Sarah Palin-- why isn't she in the news these days?

Why would he? Is there some unwritten rule that a former president has to attend the party? That was one thing I liked about Bush, he didnt get caught up or even care for the 'social' side of politics. Thats why he was never a good speaker, less talk, more action.

Never did like Palin, I just assume she stays as far away from the GOP as possible, and they would do good to keep her at arms length.

Scotty,
Wouldn't you want GWB to publicly endorse Romney?

Palin should step up to-- it's time for her to lead!

Bubba is going to speak at the Democratic Convention. Which is interesting because Bill sucks all then oxygen out of any room. He is the ultimate Democrat rock star. An incumbent president wouldn't want to be upstaged by a former president---and Bill upstaged everybody. So why run the risk of making Obama look like a midget compared to Bill by contrast?

Because the Obama campaign is in serious trouble and they know it. They are desperate.

Re: GWB Won't Be at the GOP Convention...

Bill Clinton came out stating that ALL the Bush tax cuts should remain in place. This is in stark opposition to Obama. That is just one of the many ways Clinton disagrees with the Obama platform. Yet they are giving slick Willy the chance to headline the convention.

Gotta love the desperation.
