Has anybody ever seen an Angel?

Or other spirit-like phenomenoa? Do you believe that Angels walk among us?

Seriously? Nope.

Nope, you've never seen one
OR
Nope, you don't believe they can (and have) walk among us?

Never seen one, that I am aware of. Have always heard 3rd hand stories of someone who did though.

Re: Has anybody ever seen an Angel?

I believe that Angels and Demons walk/fly whatever on the earth.
The Angels are messengers for God
The Demons are territorial and war against the saints for our cities.

Just as there are some people who work for God's kingdom.
There are other people who work for the kingdom of darkness.

Have I ever seen one? nope.

Never seen one, and think they can't be seen actually, unless for some special reason God chooses to show you one.

Re: Has anybody ever seen an Angel?

I can't say I have seen an "angelic" being, but I did have a situation that, with all my heart, I believe was handled by an angel. The story is too long to type out right now, but I believe God sent him to us at that particular moment!

"Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares." Hebrews 13:2

Other than my wife... never.

I'm with Hoovie that angels would only be seen when it is found necessary to show themselves to us.

Well, I heard it from the very person whose brother knew the cousin of the lady who saw one.

Re: Has anybody ever seen an Angel?

I think I might have.

When I was attending the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Dayton Ohio we'd meet for family prayer on Tuesday nights. They'd dim the lights and the meeting was "come and go". One night while in prayer I was praying down on my knees in between the pews. I don't remember why I sat up but I moved up and sat on the pew in front of me. As I prayed I remember opening my eyes and taking in the sight of so many gathered for prayer. The sound of praise and prayer could be heard throughout the sanctuary. Then I saw what looked like a single very thin pillar of light silently move across the platform and then it was gone. It almost looked like the light reflected off a wrist watch onto a wall... but this was like 7 or 8 feet high and certainly didn't appear to be a "reflection" on a wall. I just stared at the platform for the rest of the service to see if I saw anything else. From that point on I saw nothing.

Now, I know there might be a natural explaination for it. But it gave me some serious chills.
