Sometimes its the little things
first the husband -
He insists that we are going to the club tonight for Steak night, even though he knows I'm a vegetarian, and am in training for a marathon and don't want to eat anything unhealthy. I'm trying to have a good attitude, but, I'm really resenting him atm.
next, the sister -
She doesn't seem to want to go to church with me tomorrow. She has had the HG and been baptized in Jesus name for years. There was a little lul in church going but now we are doing well. Except for the last time we went. I went to the altar for the altar call, and she followed me up. Things were going fine and she was praying and talking in tongues, and as soon as she closed her eyes about 5 people had there hands all over her, "praying her through"
and then then the interrogation started, because she has short hair about how was she baptized, ect. She left the altar feeling like the people around her ruined her experience.
We have been going to that church for about a year now, but it is a big church and I guess not everyone remembers you, and that's ok, but I wish people would be more delicate and sensitive to the Spirit.
the dog is the only one who doesn't stress me out.

Are you aggravated with your sister? I don't blame her for being reluctant to return, that can be embarrassing.

Re: Sometimes its the little things
This is why I learned to avoid praying at a pentecostal alter.

I'm not angry with her, I'm worried about her, I want her to be in church and be happy

It's the little things that kill, per Gavin Rossdale.

Need an update on steak night please... You need a bit of good ole protein if you are running!
About your sister. Both you and her need to be straight forward with these altar hawks. They should not be invading your personal space or laying hands on you uninvited. You need to gently but firmly tell them this. No doubt their efforts are well intentioned, they just need you to tell them that it's not working.
Blessings to you and your sister. I'll say a prayer for you!

I have found with many of these alter hawks that if you resist it makes things worse because they start thinking your demon possessed.
Not that that would stop me from being, mmmmmm, forceful with them and maybe twisting a few arms to make them "back off!". lol

Perhaps one might manipulate a young person, but I think the sisters are adults. They just need to be as firm as necessary.
