Apology To Aquila
I openly apologize to Aquila for the way I have spoken to him on this forum about his doctrine. I have not had a godly attitude nor have I shown the grace of God in our discussion/arguement/fight. It would be amiss as a believer for me to behave in such an ungodly manner to a brother in Christ. I apologize for the name calling, the label, and the hatred I showed.
A difference in agreement in theology is no excuse for me behaving like a devil. For this, I am sorry, Aquila, and all those I offended on the thread and ask your forgiveness.
While I do heartily disagree with certain aspects of your theology, the Spirit grabbed hold of my heart in conviction about many things this morning, and through this and a dream last night, i found myself asking for a check about things in my heart. As I said, please forgive me.

leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.

No hard feelings. I'm honored to call you my brother.
When it comes to theology, we're all on a journey. And our theology changes. It's our love for Jesus that never changes.
I love you bro.

Re: Apology To Aquila
This is the kind of thread that I enjoy reading on AFF. May the Lord bless both of you.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
