LATEST on Sis. Urshan

The following is the latest on Sis. Urshan:

This comes as of yesterday (Monday, May 7th). As has been previously reported, Sis. Urshan is in failing heath. Her blood pressure was very low on Saturday...84/28. On top of that, she has pneumonia which has infected her lungs and heart.

Sis. Urshan's pastor, Bro. and Sis. Mooney, left Sunday for Amarillo to be with her and her family. Right now, her son Andrew has power of attorney and he has the very hard decision to keep her on or off life support.

They are starting to make preliminary plans for a funeral...which would include a funeral service in Amarillo and then fly her to Indianapolis.

It has been 5 months this Thursday since the accident.

Continue to keep the Urshan family in your prayers.

I pray he makes the right decision.

I would want to go if it were me. I think she is tired and ready to go on to heaven

This is a good reminder why it's important for everyone to have a living will, so family members are not left to make such a hard decision as this~

You are absolutely right! My mother did and I know that we would not have been able to make the decision had we not known it was what she wanted.

It was still hard, but we at least felt peace about it.
