Brother Yun & St. Matthew At Christ Church Today

Today Christ Church Nashville had a special guest speaker, the Chinese Christian leader Brother Yun. He has written a book about his experiences as a Christian leader in Communist China that I have heard is very good though I have not read it myself. He also is on the cover of this or last month's Charisma magazine.

St. Matthew joined us in the early service (so I went to that one to get to meet his lovely wife and sit with them) as he had read Brother Yun's book and wanted to hear him in person (he then rushed with his wife to his regular church service).

It was inspiring and a blessing to hear Brother Yun's testimony and to realize once again what a blessing we have being in America even though it has many faults.

St. Matthews wife is much prettier than he is (thank the Lord!) and was a joy to meet.

Hopefully St, Matthew will get on later today and post about his visit to my church and hearing Brother Yun.

I forgot to add it created quite the stir when all of a sudden St. Matthew stated whoopin' and hollaring and began running the aisles of the church with his arms waving in the air.

Wait, CS and now Matthew?

It is a conspiracy to bring you back from the Dark Side, Anakin!

Quite the opposite! We are secretly sprinkling "charismatic dust" on all of them that visit so anytime now they will be "looking our way"!!!!!!!!

Any day now you will probably hear of Coonskinner in a short sleeve shirt.

St. Matthew will probably be posting about the Tennessee Titans any day now.

Just on for a few moments. It was again a pleasure to see CC1. As he stated, I had read the book, THE HEAVENLY MAN, and when I saw the sign at Christ Church saying he would be there at their morning service decided to go. It was a very heartwarming experience to see one that has suffered so much for the name of Jesus. Although I do not believe they have the revelation that we have on Acts 2:38, I would not take away from what they do have, and have prayed many prayers for this man that God would give him revelation.

Now as far as the shockamooing down the aisles......

I have read the book, it is an incredible story, are they still working on the "Back to Jerusalem" project? His story reads like the Book of Acts, such trust in God out of necessity.

Yes, they are still doing the "Back To Jerusalem" thing. I used the book as part of a devotional reading to my family several years back.

That's great, I bet it kept all of them on the edge of their seats. I believe their story tells us that God is faithful and will meet the "needs" of those who diligently seek Him.
