Go and LEARN mercy

Jesus had a problem with the religious world of His day...the law keepers....the Pharisees...while he really did not seem to condemn them for keeping the law He condemned their spirit and attitude...the Pharisees glorified themselves and their perfection...but they did not see that they were proud and outright mean.

Last night looking over some of the posts I thought of the words of our Teacher...Learn Mercy....

No matter what we may believe if we have not first learned Mercy...we are NOT like Jesus...

To be LIKE Jesus should be our greatest desire...that does not mean we agree to sin but it does mean we must have the fruits of the spirit and we are NOT out to destroy someone else...

Re: Go and LEARN mercy

Jesus when He called His would be disciples he told them to learn of me...for I am meek and lowly...quite different from many preachers today.
Even under the strict law of the OT Jehovah cries out,
"For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings" (Hosea 6:6).

Re: Go and LEARN mercy

We must be servants of the FATHER of Mercy. We must go and learn who and what our Father is...

Inspired and powerful words. Just what I always expect from you.

God bless you on your missions.
