Funny little piece of trivia...that song is on the very first Christian CD that I ever bought. So when I hear that song, I have weird nostalgia flashbacks!
To answer your question...I don't necessarily believe that...but neither do I disbelieve it.
I think it falls into the realm of currently seeing through a glass darkly (did you see that?? I made a scripture reference!
). I think that because we live in a world of mysteries and questions that it's comforting to think that someday all of our questions will be answered.
And maybe they will
