Prayer for my BIL
My sister's husband's mother passed away this week after suffering with Alzheimers for several years. My BIL left the Catholic Church and is baptized in Jesus name and seeking the Holy Ghost. He is a good man, but the leaving the Catholic faith has caused problems with his siblings.
His mother is the first to die in their family and he is doing the Eulogy. I called him this morning to encourage him in the Lord to let his love shine and to remember that God's grace is limitless and it is not his responsibility to judge another's being right/wrong, or heaven or hell, but to example the love and grace of God, especially at a time like this.
When my father died, the first in our family to die, I also had the responsibility and privilege of presenting my Father's eulogy. I remember trying to be so brave to help support my younger siblings that I 'stuffed' my grief for years. One of the reason's for the near fatal car accident I had in 1991 was trying to get to my sister in Ohio to comfort her because that day was my Father's birthday, the first after his death and I was so upset that I was not thinking clearly.
I said all that to say...PLease pray for my BIL as he is grieving and trying to be an example to his family after his conversion. Pray Jehoveh Shalom give him peace and the Holy Ghost give him comfort.
In Jesus name,
Rhoni

Sis. Rhoni,
Just saw this! Is this your BIL in Rockwall?
May the Great Lord God fill your BIL's mouth to say only the things HE
would have him say. May the Lord also give him peace, comfort and
strength, in Jesus Name!
Hugs,

Sis. Falla, No, it is my little sister in Ohio. Her husband's mother. Thank you for your prayers. Our family has very few left of the generation above us. My mother and my BIL's father is the only ones left of that generation. All the people in our family die young...probably from stress J/K. But it is true that most have died from 55-76 years old. Which means I am getting close to borrowed time.
Thanks again for your prayers,
Rhoni
