This is where CC1 lives; I hope he and his family are ok. My son goes to school here too, but I talked to him and they think it has finally all passed over. He said about 3 tornadoes touched down there in Murfreesboro, but none right near the college. They did a lot of damage to homes though. He's on his way home now - about 3 hours away.

I was thinking your son was in Murfreesboro from reading your posts. So glad he is safe. I hope CC1 and his family are safe, too.

Zac just called and said that he'd heard that nine people had died in the M'boro area, but I haven't seen that on the news, so that may just be rumors. He said the destruction is BAD.

My daughter lives in Murfreesboro, and a tornado touched down two blocks from her home! Her and my grandson were hunkered down in a closet! She said that it may be the scariest storm she's ever witnessed!

Thanks God she is OK!

My son-in-law owns two restaurants in Murfreesboro:
Five Senses
Tomato Tomato (Pizza)

My daughter went to MTSU (still does!) and never left the city!

I'll have to ask Zac if he's been to those restaurants. Are they close to the campus?

Do you have any way to call CC1 and check on him? I lost his number when my phone died.
