Not sure if you are referring to the black one or not but I didn't think it was new.

The blessings of the Lord maketh RICH and adds NO SORROW to it.

Preachers complain about being poor, but when God blesses a preacher they are all over him like flies on a cow patty...

Well, I've put my request in to my husband for a Jag (someday...over the rainbow....)

Hope folks don't judge us too harshly when he gives me the car of my dreams. (Probably for my 80th Birthday!)

By that time you'll be able to afford to pay someone to drive it for you.

The Jag should look nice parked next to all the Mercedes, BMW's and Cadilac's in WEC parking lot.

I think that as long as a pastor is not burdening the people he pastors with his lifestyle or taxing the church finances, he should live as comfortably as he feels the Lord would have him to.

My wife and I have some nice things. However, we are some of the most extensive bargain shoppers you can imagine. If something is not a bargain, I rarely buy it.

For me, a "Jag" would probably be over the edge as would a Mercedes or a Hummer. Firstly, the maintenance would be too costly for me when it needed it. The sports car I drive (Mazda Miata) is one of the most reliable sports cars out there. Other than oil changes, I only had to replace 1 $35 part on my old one after 75K miles.

I'm sure Bishop Haney can afford the maintenance, and I say, "You go, Bro. H!!! Straighten out some of those California roads for me!!!"

That $25/head will go a long way, won't it? (I know, I'm bad)

If you are referring to the black one........ no it is not new. It was purchased for Brother and Sister Haney by the saints of Christian Life Center in November of 2001 - in celebration of their 40th wedding anniversary and 30 years of pastoring. So it is over six years old.

Now.... if he has another one.... that one I know nothing about.
