Messed Up Forum

How messed up is a Forum when a thread about Laodicea and the church today gets 4 replies and a thread about some whacko snorting his father's ashes gets twice as many replies?

Think I'll go back and post on the Feminists thread.

Keep bumping the thread like someone else does when their thread doesn't get enough attention.

I did NOT just say that.

That's it. I'm tired... going to bed now before I wander off into some other thread and really get myself in trouble.

At times it makes you wonder. Threads about perfection die a quick death while Your First Kiss and like threads seem to thrive.

Don't take it so hard. some topics just don't jive with people at the right time. I started a thread about the revival going on with the messianic jews and asked if anyone had heard about it and I got zero response.

Someone else started the same thread a few days later and got two pages of responses.

Yep -

We've received complaints there aren't any good threads, however when those good threads are started - no one will read them.

Just keep bumping it!

Hey, I read your thread!!!! (this morning...but you posted this or something similar to it before [on NFCF?] and I read it then, too.)

Some threads produce responses, others produce thoughts. There's nothing really to argue with here....

Well RRFORD....you are the guy who started the Keith richards thread.....and it had to get a bump after 3 or 4 posts.

You did put an intersting title on the thread. That is what caused me to click on it. That, and a very recognized poster (you), being the listed author.

But, I do agree, it's amazing what gets attention here at AAF.

Doctrine, unless it's a standards thread, get's little attention compared to other more weighty matters.

But, you made your point..
