George Carlin Dead at 71

George Carlin is dead. He was a comedian. I used to be a big fan of his, until I heard him openly reject God on stage.

Re: George Carlin Dead at 71

it would have been more sad if this happened in the Mid 80's before he became a vitriolic leftwing hack.

His routine was filled with vulgarities & he was the one of the original filthy comedians, but even for all that his worse trait was his open rejection & vilification of God and those who followed God that is the real tragedy!

We reap what we sow.

Sad

I would not want to be in his shoes now.I guess he was pretty funny but I couldn't stand to listen to him because he was so anti-God.

Ron, it's one thing to be worldly, and it's another to admit you aren't a Christian. However, GC crossed over into becoming an enemy of God, in my opinion. The hatred he spewed for God was real. I have not watched any of his programs, or allowed them to be shown in my home, since I saw it for myself a few years ago.

Yeah, it was his openly anti-God attitude that really turned me off to him.
