So proud of our youth!

I just gotta give a major kudos to our churches youth group! They are so totally awesome! This is a group of about 150 kids who love Jesus so much! They live their lives a wonderful example of this..

I am also so proud and gotta brag on them for something else... They can SANGGGGGG and they have been blessed with the honor of being asked to come be one of the main mass choirs at the European National Youth Convention in Paris! In 18 months we will be flying all of our kids to Paris for 10 days and they will be singing and working in another area ministering for a couple of days and then touring Paris as well. They are so excited and have every right to be... but more so we the parents are all so very proud of them!

I am trying to get one of our guys to add a more recent youtube of them so you can actually hear them but they are amazing!

But for now I have to run take one to choir practice for camp meeting and another is on his way back from working at La camp. Fun fun

Praise the Lord everyone. The next generation is gonna knock the devil off his feet. He is raising up a mighty generation for His glory. Amen!

Re: So proud of our youth!

I spent a few days in Paris as part of a trip to Europe when I was 17 and I treasure it to this day. I hope they get to go to the Louvre, Eiffel Tower, and Notre Dame.

From my understanding (we are having a meeting w all details monday night) but our assistant pastor used to be the missionary to Paris. ANd my understanding is that he and his wife are going and will be taking them sight seeing and to all the main places that anyone would ever want to go in Paris... so I am sure they will. I think they only have to be at the conference 4 days and then they have the other mission for 2 days and will be there a total of 10 so I guess they will have good time I hope

Re: So proud of our youth!

Well we had the meeting this past Monday night and we are now in the process of Project Paris... This will be the first conference held in Paris proper and we are so excited!

The kids start their first fund raiser very soon with our Freedom Celebration on the 6th and then on and on!

Please keep our wonderful youth group in your prayers!

They have another group leaving today to go to La for the night to camp and one group already there

They are in major planning for a SALT conference that will be held at our church later this year

And in the final planning stages for another Xtreeme Mountain Top Xperience coming in October (and I am sure I spelled that wrong as they do it all weird LOL) They had gobs of kids get the holy ghost in the last one and we are indeed expecting bigger and better this year!!!

Our youth head all of these adventures and mainly our salt team so please keep them in your prayers over the next few months as they covet them dearly!!!

That's quite an honor! Isn't your daughter in the choir?
