Average Annual Wage

The average annual wage in the US is just under $40,000.

How does this compare to your own income?

The poll is private.

Re: Average Annual Wage

I make a little more than that but if I didn't waste so much time on here I could probably make a lot more. So far my income has gone up about 10 to 15% a year since I got out of school. Hopefully, I can keep going at this pace for many years.

Re: Average Annual Wage

My numbers have changed a bit since my wife is offically taking a wage from our business. Lord knows she puts in the time in the home based office!

Re: Average Annual Wage

Individual or Family?

Individually both my wife and I are slightly about average, so for family income we are truly blessed. Especially since the cost of living is pretty low here.

Re: Average Annual Wage

With a pension from General Electric after 32 years of service, plus a Social Security check for me, plus a Social Security Check for my wife the total comes to barely over $50,000.
