How was your service tonight?
WOW! We had an awesome service. The church was packed with people.
Wonderful presence of the Lord in everything that was said and done and we baptized two and several new people repented.
We had the group from the trinity church that are my friends and they liked our service. They seemed to have enjoyed the Bible study I gave them on baptism in Jesus name. I don´t think they had ever seen anything or any church quite like us....ha...
No one wanted to go home so we danced and had a time even after the service was officially dismissed! The little crippled lady that was healed while we were in the states wanted to show us she could walk...so you can imagine what seeing a miracle does to the crowd...
One of the church brothers borrowed my shofar and he blew it while we worshipped..He did so good. I love the sofar blowing in worship and praise but some of my American friends think it is quite charismatic of me to like it.
lol...
We are getting ready for our convention (regional) May 1-4 and believe me we have lots to do to get ready for it...
Since our people are very poor we start a good while before getting food and supplies ready. Today we took up 3 offerings! First one regular offering, then a missionary offering for the jungle work and then a offering to buy plastic glasses for convention...Each Sunday from now to convention we will be taking up offerings to buy more plates, oil, coffee, rice, beans and other items...so when convention comes we will already have some things.
Everyone is so excited we have so many things planned for coming weeks...we are working on building a new wing on our dining room and trying to get 4 more dorms finished and all by faith...but God will do it. His work needs it.
It is so hot here several of our sisters really suffer in this hot weather...our church is very hot and our worship is lively...so after service we are wet from head to toe...
You Americans are blessed with your air...
Blessings to all.
