My daughter needs prayer- Jillian
Please pray for Jill, she is going through a tough battle.
She is 20, and has been our song leader for several yrs.
She does not believe in the standards she was raised with. I have not agreed with all of them, but I love the church God brought us to, and for unity's sake I have always lived them without a problem. I have always required my children to abide by them also.
She is stepping down from her position, because she feels she is deceiving by holding that position, when she does not agree with those standards.
I admire her for the integrity she has, but I am so afraid she will leave the church alltogether. She loves the church as much as I do. But it will be hard for her to sit on a pew, and feel as if she is an outcast. Even though no one in our church will make her feel that way. I know how the enemy magnifies things to us..
Pray I have wisdom in how I counsel her. She will be talking to our Pastor in the next few days.
Also, I don't want this to spark a standard debate, I am just sincerly seeking prayer for my family.
