Electric Fence

Do any of you folks have an electric fence? After our robbery we put up electric fences around our place and a security system and even hidden mikes. I can hear what is being whispered in some places even so it is still frightening at times...
Please when you pray always pray for our safety. thanks so much.

My dad has an electric fence wire around the top of one of the fences he has a donkey kept in. It's the only way the donkey won't try to get out of the fence.

I can remember touching an electric fence once when I was a kid. That is definitely an experience I'll never forget.

We will continue to pray for your safety there... and wherever you may have to travel.

I learned something from my sister in law a couple of days ago. I didn't know that there was a thrift store in Lexington TN that supported Brazil missions with the profit it makes over the cost of the rental on the building. Then she went on and mentioned your name as the missionary that was supported by the store. Now I have a new place to go shop, as well as a new place I can donate things to and know that it will be going to help a cause that I support.

Our electric fence is on top of the brick one so it is pretty high...

We had one around our garden to keep the varmints out. It worked good. I got zapped a couple of times. That was not fun at all! We had a woodchuck (gopher) around our house. He was huge. We put the fence up and the next thing we knew there was a big hole in the ground by our bean plants were he came up inside the garden. My husband through some gas down the hole and set it on fire and that woodchuck never came up in our garden again. (He was still alive because we still saw him after that. This was for the folks who felt sorry for that woodchuck and thought maybe something bad happened to him.)

I feel safer since we had all that done but we are never really safe here...and being foreigners people think you have money running out your ears...the secret mikes are fun...the location is secret but all our people know we have them...nothing for gossip just for safety purposes...

In fact it was our people that decided we needed all these things...

A person was talking to me last night how they worry about our safety...however God is good and we do what we can to be safer but who must protect us is God.
