My pastor taught an incredible lesson Sun. morning on a disease our children are facing; disrespect.
It has done incredible damage to our culture, and our homes, and most of all, the spirits of our children. And there is only one place that they can get the remedy, in their home. Parents have abdicated their responsibilties because of time constraints and guilt, (among other reasons) and our children are paying the price.

The counter-cultural revolution of the 60s is still making their moves right out of Marx's playbook. The "long march through the institutions" is well underway in our government-run schools. The assault on the traditional family is relentless, and from all sides.
I saw a billboard the other day that said that only 4 out of 5 adults could read this billboard.
I said to my wife, if that's really true, than that statistic ALONE is cause to dissolve and de-fund all government schools and the federal DOE. America's literacy rate was better than that before the advent of modern public school systems.
Sadly, personal responsibility isn't likely to make a comeback.
