This scripture has to do with authority, plain and simple. David was absolutely crushed and repented for even touching God's anointed by cutting a piece off of his robe.

Sheesh all these bitter folks out there taking pot shots at scritptural authority. No wonder our kids today have no regard or respect for authority.

Tear it down all you want, J dude. You can have your reward also, I want none of that.

And you can stick with the thirst for power and recognition mindset, I'll have none of that.

Jek..

Maybe if the ministry had more respect for each other instead of all the squabbles folks might be more in line with your thinking....How can the kids understand when their told they can't fellowship with other neighboring churches???

I just hate it that Brother Jekyll is not an authority over me and that the care of my eternal soul is not in his hands. It's just tragic...

Nope! Bitterness is their paint with which they use their broad brushes. Why would I be bitter with bitterness?? LoL

I am only letting other people know what it really is . They can let their bitterness eat themselves up for that matter. I hope it wouldn't. But let's not kid ourselves, and, at risk of repeating myself yet again, there are alot of bitter folks out there who need to let go and forgive. I am not sure that a public forum that gives itself to these folks piling up on God-given authority is the place to find help.

And there are some out there that think what is bitterness is just honest truth that they don't want to hear.
