D&J, did you attend George Corney Jr's funeral? I imagine it was very well attended service. I would like to have been there.

Yes I did and I was honored to be asked to be a pallbearer.

It was very well attended with over 50 preachers present and the church was packed with people downstairs and everywhere.

I am still processing the fact that my friend is gone, it is really hard to beleive.

Was this an accident, or sudden illness- he was young!

(I am not that old myself and these kind of postings make me wonder what would be said of me if I was gone tomorrow)

I'm glad there was a good turnout. Of course I would expect there to be in the AD. George was a nice guy. It must be quite a blow to the congregation to have lost two pastors as a result of sudden heart attacks in just a few years time.

I told my wife that was thinking of having it written into my will that $10.00 be handed out to everyone who attends my funeral just to make sure someone shows up.

Before heading for bed, I wanted to share with you all something for which all Canadians can be proud. I heard on the news this week that in a survey rating all airlines in North America that Air Canada is rated the top airline in North America!

Canadians have recently voted Vancouver the best city in Canada to vacation in! It is truly a beautiful place and many interesting things to do here. Felicity and I have the welcome mat out for our Canadian friends wanting to visit Vancouver.
