Our civic duty is to obey God and promote His Kingdom, period.

Yes it is. It is very good to be balanced and sensible in this world. Going to one extreme or another is out of balance.

I DON'T DISAGREE that the people who profess ourselves to be Christian, need to DAILY prostrate ourselves before our God. That's what we are called to do. That doesn't preclude us from also going out and doing our CIVIC DUTY.

We do have both a heavenly and an earthly citizenship. So, I understand your point on a civic duty. We have Romans 13:1-7 and I Peter 2:13-25 as a guide toward our earthly citizenship.

Just watched his message. Other than his last minute shilling for Zionism and the fact that his approach is about 50 years behind the curve, I don't see where anything he said is substantially different from anything I've been saying for years on this forum (or anywhere else for that matter).
But his hair looks better than mine so there's that. Probably why he's GS and I'm not.

Civic duty has a place for citizens. Paying taxes and compliance with the law comes to mind. Voting is not required by law, but I feel it is our duty.

Explain “feel it’s our duty” but in light of the New Testament.

I just watched this. David K Bernard is a great teacher, and his contributions to Oneness Pentecostalism has been awesome. His books are amazingly well put together and his historical investigation has been so valuable.
I find this specific preaching very practical yet, very shallow in some areas. One of the biggest threats to religion freedom in this country is the LGTBQ+ agenda on schools, laws, and courts. He shied away from that topic when he was closed to talk about it, like the example with the KKK cake, or the when he mentioned of leaders legally attacking churches.
He also failed to talk about objections to his interpretation of some text he used, as some people object to the face value interpretation to keep justifying and persuading other Christians to take a different direction.

Yes, I absolutely believe WE have the power. That power is through prayer for the power hungry corrupt vandals who are the ruling powers of this nation. You can’t vote your way out of bondage Moses. There must be a pillar of fire to stop Pharaoh’s chariots, and a pillar of fire to lead the way through the raging sea. Prophets who go around telling people their phone numbers and telling them what they had for breakfast won’t bring forth change. It’s when we join together in focused prayer to turn the hurricane away, to stop the impending doom, to liberate those who are in bondage. We fail at that at times, but we can’t give up. When can’t reach out to steady the ark because we feel that we can stop it from falling off the ox cart.

Can you explain the last paragraph. Also where in the video does Brother Bernard deal with these issues?
