Not trying to be negative or rude, but your house is representing Buddha and offering him as acceptable to your neighborhood. I believe you have all of your faith in God and I don't think you would really want to do that. JMO.

at first I though as a lawn gnome, but aren't gnomes evil?

then I thought as Santa, but Santa is also evil.

I might dig a hole and push him in.

I would melt him and make some bullets.

Siegfried is 12 years old and a wonderful companion for long walks and snuggles.
I want him to live as long as possible, so, I have been reading up on pet health.

Here are some tips:

1) Add fresh food to diet. I use mealmixfordogs.com for homemade balanced dog food for some of Siegfried's meals.

2) Keep pet at a healthy weight with diet and lots of exercise. You can calculate how many calories your dog should eat per day
and then read labels to see how many calories/cup is in your pet food.

3) Clean with non-toxic ingredients such as vinegar, lemon, and baking soda. Keep dog away from garden insect and weed repellants.

4) Don't use toxic flea and tick meds. Cedarcide.com is a non toxic insect repellant for pets and humans both.

5) Add supplements to dog food depending on your pets needs: Fish oil, tumeric, hemp oil for joint health and pain.

Re: Consider this

I knew that my Grandmother immigrated here from Croatia and that my Father had British ancestry. I suspected that my Paternal Grandfather was Slovakian because he settled in Pennsylvania, which has a large Slovak population. Germanic and Norway makes sense due to the Germanic and Viking invasions of Britain. My sister had a notion that we had Greek ancestry, obviously not the case.

I have a desire to make a trip to Eastern Europe, probably Croatia.

Re: Consider this

The last two years have been a wild ride. I've lost my husband and beloved German short haired pointer. I've had to navigate widowhood, being responsible for everything to do with home ownership on my own.

At the same time, I chose to leave the UPCI and join the CACI. So, at a time when my life was in turmoil and grief, I left my one remaining support system, besides my Sister, in pursuit of biblical knowledge and a path closer to how my belief system was developing.

Being a part of this forum was a large factor in changing my views on certain things.

It's interesting how I learned about the CACI. It was from this forum. Bro Blume, who is friends with Chris Reed, started a thread about Chris. I friended Chris on Facebook and learned about a Covenant Apostolic Church called True Vine Covenant Apostolics.

True Vine was founded by a group who left the UPCI to start a Sabbath keeping, festival observing church. I know many of the people who founded True Vine, have known them for years.

True Vine became affiliated with a small organization called the CACI. The CACI has been instrumental in forging the development of True Vine.

Now I absolutely love True Vine, the teaching has been amazing. The people are wonderful. What a joy this has all been to find like minded people whose beliefs align with my own.

I've now been with True Vine for 22 months. And over time I've learned about some beliefs that have come from the CACI organization that I don't agree with. And it's heart breaking.

CACI teaches that communion in addition to Act 2:38 baptism provides remission of sins. They also teach that ANY of the 9 spiritual gifts can be evidence of someone having received the Holy Ghost even if they have never spoken in tongues.

The communion thing I thought I could over look because it's not really a salvational issue. But the initial evidence doctrine is.

And that's how it usually ends. It is hard to find a place that fits nicely with your beliefs. It is when we have to reconsider it as "would I call them brothers/sisters even when we disagree in this and that area?" "What doctrine do I consider core and what doctrine I allow for some disagreement and still fellowship?" That is a question each one needs to answer for themselves. Then, those you disagree with, unless the elders of the congregation are OK with it, you would have to keep your mouth quiet to prevent disunity in the congregation. Some elders are OK with expressing differences in certain areas, and even allow preachers/teachers to present their views in front of the congregation, but those same elders are strict about other doctrines you may actually agree with.

Basically, it is important you determine two things:

1. Would you still call them brothers/sisters?
2. Are those doctrines you disagree with core for you? Can you live with the disagreement keeping silent to prevent disunity if the elders don't allow the different view to be discussed openly?
