Won't the costs be a matter of public record? India has very crowded cities. It will be a security nightmare I think.

Only some of the direct costs will be available for estimates. Teams on the ground of special agents sweeping for bugs and devices etc are secreat operators.
There will be a lot of padded and indirect costs. Like a row of rooms for agents that run huge charges billed to their room.
It would have saved money to eat curry in a NYC restaurant.
The crowded city part? They evacuate streets for the Royal family.
I was in Cleveland one day when both Sr Bush and Clinton were in town running for Pres. They were about 4 blocks appart for 2 hours. Buiildings were closed to traffic before either entered for a time.
