Nah, I didn't think so.

It's a personal preference, fellas, get over it.
It's really hard to see spiritual things with smoke in your eyes. The main vanity is the narccistic view where we're enamored with our looks. Shaving had a purpose or the practice would not have been addressed. Primpimg, pumping spraying, clipping, crimping, gelling, laquering, was meant for the head of a woman, not man.

Right - that is exactly why Jesus said - THOU SHALT SHAVE! Thou shalt not have any facial hair! Grab that Mach 4 and shave away. Get rid of that masculine look and have a smooth feminine look so you can attract the other boys!
You guys are too busy reading your own press!

"Shaving had a purpose or the practice would not have been addressed." This is TOO FUNNY!
"Cigarettes have a purpose or they would not have been invented"
"Wine and strong drink has a purpose or it would not be in the Word of God."
"Gun's and knives have a purpose or they would have never been invented."

You guys have heard this crazy anti-facial hair stuff so long - you invent new ways to justify your legalism to try and control people.

remember when even the Baptist Preachers were clean shaven. Men certainly look much neater and cleaner when they are clean shaven. That’s just my opinion, but I know lots of women who prefer beards on men.

I don't care to have facial myself ,but to me it's a matter of personal preference ,if a Brother has it and keeps it neatly trimmed that his and His Holy Ghost's business.

You Guy's?

I don't think anything I said would imply direct condemnation, with the exception of the lack of spiritual understanding. The rest was answers to scriptual principles for implementing biblical standards, and for preaching the value of abstaining from growing or promoting facial hair.

Try the shamefacedness for awhile, and see if your spiritual receptors don't lead you to deeper waters.

It's all about more light and greater understanding. It's not about us against them....sheesh....

Just to be in compliance, should I start shaving all the hair that grows in at puberty, or only the part above the neckline?
