I like rock , but the only thing about Adam that is weird to me is that he does not look like he would sing in such high notes .
It was a bit strange hearing Chris do Michael Jackson's " Man in the Mirror " .

I think he's got a great voice. I just can't stand all the girlyness. Why can't men just be men?!?!?!

Re: American Idol
REALLY, TAMOR???? I thought they were much better than last week. I would hate to be a guy up against the Puerto Rican and the blind guy because there's so much emotion involved with both of them - they have a lot going for them even if they couldn't sing a lick (which they both can!!). I love the gal from Memphis with the three kids.

Re: American Idol
Ok American Idol is a huge disappointment!!! I can not believe they put those two girls through!!! Matt can sing but Megan and Jasmine are so average!!! Ricky Braddy should have been picked a long time ago to go through, instead the judges let him slip away!!! I'm sorry to say this but the blind guy really got the sympathy vote. He is an ok singer; he is not good enough to win. Then there's that guy that I can not even remember his name, Allen or something like that. Seriously, what were they thinking? A bunch of tweens must have been burning up the lines, calling in to vote for him. I stand by my favorite Danny Gokey. I doubt AI will set new records this year. The whole format is horrible!!! I'm complaining so much but will I continue watching? YES!!!!

Re: American Idol
I was soooooo holding my breath when they brought both Megan and Tatiana up together! I don't think I could watch any more of her silly antics!
Cracked me up when the judges said she will be an actor!
It seemed like the judges were judging from a 'marketable' standpoint last night, not just a 'singing' standpoint. They wanted someone with the 'whole package', not just a good voice. But then, that's just my opinion.

It cracked me up when one of them said that at least she wasn't crying and holding her heart - and Simon said, "She will be."

Re: American Idol
Jasmine has an incredible face, look and smile. I don't think she will make it as a singer but will definitely be a TV star. I can see her in a sitcom or drama.
Tattoo girl has to go. Her voice is like one of those female vocalists on a Disney animated movie made in the 1930's. She has such a beautiful face it is a shame she has destroyed her body with the nasty all arm tattoo and then doesn't have enough since to cover it up when wearing an evening type dres.
I didn't like the Conway Arkansas guy because I am jealous. No guy should be that handsome, that talented singing, AND have such a beautiful blonde wife!!! LOL
Danny is still the man to beat although Mr. Black fingernails and girly hair is also very good. I liked most of his performance tonight but at times it seemed like he was screaming and I thought for sure Simon was going to call him on that but he didn't. He does have a great voice but as someone pointed out why can't men just be manly? I am still trying to figure out if he is a 'mo or just "sensitive".

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.
"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.
"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."
