God knows my heart, and helps me.

I was raised in the "world", and have bee saved a relatively short time, I am only 27, so perhaps I am more aware of my "surroundings" than you.

As my pastor says "I'm saved, but I ain't blind... If it ain't for sales, don't put it in the window."

So because I am FOR MODESTY you are ripping me?
Also, I believe it goes both ways, when I was in the world, I had a very good physique and would often wear basketball jerzees, or such that would show my arms and chest. After I came to the Lord, I was convicted to cover myself (at least with a t-shirt-i'm not all for lon sleeves). So I beleive that guys should be modest too, but clothing is certainly more of a feminine issue.
Also, I have been married for 8 years, eat home cooking all the time, and haven't worked out in a long while-so I guess that takes care of that issue for good.
The only thing I rip is those who believe they feel it is their duty to step outside their own convictions to begin applying them and setting them as the bar of expectations for others.

It is ridiculous that we have created this religious society and culture wherein we believe we can police our own lust by expecting our women not to wear that which is lustful, yet are we not residents of this planet?

If we were truly to be separated from the world, we would be living in these biospheres that could only be inhabited by the skirtpeople. Remove the object of lust and there will be no lust. Right?

yeeesh.

On the other hand if we say we are going to live according to our own convictions, the problem is that they just aren't good enough! OUR CONVICTIONS ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH IN THE EYES OF THE ESTABLISHMENT! TRUE CONVICTIONS NEED TO BE STANDARDIZED. This is what the church is saying to us, we have no personal convictions if they do not mirror the convictions of the church.

And yes, I can tell the difference in men's scrubs, women's scrubs and the so-called "unisex" ones.

And they don't have that nice perma crease down the front that makes me look like I tried to iron them when I really didn't.

You are correct, I am a very nice guy, but I would rather give you a headache by exhausting your cultural and intellectual reason than to be a pain in the neck.

When I say you in many cases, I mean that collectively, you as a representative of those who believe like you.

You cannot tell me that folks would not have people to agree and to believe like they do, there is strength in numbers and it lends credibility to issue, the more that agree, the more the principal/doctrine/belief must be correct.

Re: Can you tell the difference between men's pant

Most of the time I can tell if a woman is wearing men's pants, simply by the fact that men's pants are not made for curves. If a woman puts on pair of men's pants, usually they will flatten her hiney into oblivion!

Secondly, I can tell a pair of men's trousers from those made for a woman just by looking at how they are made. The rise is different, and the pants will not sit in the right spot on a woman's waist.

Now, that doesn't mean I believe they are particularly modest, especially the jeans pictured on the first page. Are jeans even made for modesty? LOL!!! I think they're made to hug the figure, in most cases. And if they are loose fitting, they just aren't very flattering, so if you DO feel the need to wear pants, go with a more flattering, drapey fabric and long, loose cut.
