But then again - it is an election year. I think that explains why this happened now.

From what I've seen so far, I don't think they just suddenly jumped up and headed in. They have wanted in for a very long time, but their hands were tied. They had no proof of any wrongdoing or breaking of laws.

It wasn't until they received a phone call for help that they were ABLE to go in.

For all the government's power, it was useless to them without an accusation brought against the compound.

Our local news this morning said they have been trying to do this for over 1 yr. And even had at one time tried to plant someone within the compound,

To me this would seem the right thing to do.

One of the men is denying he knew the girl that turned in the report. They have to have evidence.

I haven't been following the story. Just heard a few pieces here and there.

He relocated to Texas while wanted in other states. Texas just happened to be the place where they ended up and got complaints about pregnant teenagers seen in town and the teenage boys that were driven out told someone in authority and that's why TEXAS did the right thing.

The children were removed out of harm's way. The reason the men weren't is because of evidence gathering so they can be prosecuted.

I believe someone called from the compound to get help. Whether it was a child or an adult I am not sure.
