Narrated 'A'ISHA: that the Prophet married her when she was SIX YEARS OLD and he CONSUMMATED his marriage when she was NINE YEARS OLD. Hisham said: I have been informed that 'Aisha remained with the Prophet for nine years (i.e. till his death)." what you know of the Quran (by heart)'

Sahih Bukhari 7. 62. 88

Narrated 'Ursa:The Prophet wrote the (marriage contract) with 'Aisha while she was SIX YEARS OLD and CONSUMMATED his marriage with her while she was NINE YEARS OLD and she remained with him for nine years (i.e. till his death).

WHEN your bible was your law you did not condemn it either. Taking credit for the current "age of consent" laws is like taking credit for the freedom to practice one's religion in America.

Given multiple opportunities to demonstrate your superior religious system none of you have provided a single bit of data that indicates that a single religious teaching declares marriage at young ages a sin but there is a preponderance of evidence indicating that under religious church law this was practiced, tolerated, and accepted.

All churches, all denominations, all centuries dating before and after Jesus and since there is a record of law given from God.

This new addition (from a historical perspective) is the way it should have been from the beginning of time? Why would the religious community wait until the "end-times" to discover this great revelation?

Maybe 30. No wait that's the number of years that you have been involved in this church and never noticed. Thought you were leaving. See a couple pages back on the reminder of what you said in that earlier post. Sadly but not surprisingly it was not quite what you said you said but that's normal for you folks.

Logically, none of the things you claim happened enough in 30 years, in the areas I have lived, to honestly broadbrush a movement. Can't say the same for your movement.

Ezekiel 16:7

I made you flourish like a plant of the field. And YOU GREW UP AND BECAME TALL and ARRIVED at FULL ADORNMENT. Your BREAST WERE FORMED, and your HAIR HAD GROWN; yet you were naked and bare.

Ezekiel 16:7

I made you thrive like plants of the field. You GREW UP and MATURED and became very beautiful. Your BREASTS WERE FORMED and your HAIR GREW, but you were stark naked.

This is the Prophet Ezekiel speaking of Israel, first as a swaddled baby, and then growing to maturity, with fully formed breasts, and pubic hair fully grown. Then the Prophet Ezekiel speaks about the Lord God marrying her.

Six and nine year old girls weren't considered fully grown, with matured breasts.

Just in case anyone can't understand the difference of a 9 year old to a fully grown adults, here is a diagram. Aisha nine years old wouldn't of fit the description in Ezekiel 16:7.
