Do you know how the racial profiling meme started? The media cuts the 911 call and only plays that GZ is saying the guy is black. They didn't play that the Dispatcher was asking for a profile. Good grief. Hell ought to be hotter for Al Sharpton and his ilk.

Al Sharpton had nothing to do with the VAST MAJORITY of the demonstrations I provided links to. Will you check them out and stop making anyone who speaks out against anything race-related to be the stepson of satan?

If you think the media is "one-entity", then maybe you'd like to limit the freedom of our press to report the news, to make people aware, and to raise questions when things are not clear.

Just as the word, "love" is overused in our society, so is the word "terrorism".

Exactly, it was the media and outsiders who wanted GZ jailed, and they knew nothing of the case/evidence. It was the investigators, who knew the details, spoke to all of the witnesses, and spoke to GZ who originally decided that it was self defense. That says a lot.

By the way, how many break-ins were there in GZ's neighborhood in the several months prior to this event? How many of GZ's calls to non-emergency and 911 resulted in arrests? Who had injuries? What have the majority of credible witnesses said? Why didn't TM go home if he saw someone following him? That is the first thing I'd do... get inside my home. Common sense prevails in this case combined with overwhelming evidence and most importantly, the law(s).

And yes, there was indeed enough marijuana in TM's system to effect him. He was also a regular user which worsens the effects; paranoia, irritability, fear and anxiety. Not to mention the watermelon fruit drink and skittles which were, clearly, for the purpose of the codeine drink he used regularly. Plus the many fights he was a part of previously - indicating his tendencies to be aggressive... just look at the types of "likes" he had on FB. This speaks to his character, habits, and tendencies.

When did the dead 17 year old circle the defendant's car-- before or after he made the phone call to the police? A lot sure can happen in the very few minutes of time-- the time between he hung up the phone with the police and the time when the gunshot was heard.

How is it that the defendant who had taken courses to become a police officer, completed courses to earn a concealed-carry permit, "never heard" of the SYG law down here?


If the defendant would take the stand, the prosecution would poke a bunch of holes in his story-- but the prosecution's tactics has made it not likely for the defendant to take the stand.

Didn't the instructor say on the witness stand that he did not use the term "SYG" in class; that it was called something else?

No, the police in Sanford did not speak to "all the witnesses" within the less than 12 hours they took to decide to let the defendant go home.

The reason why the police chief in Sanford was let go was due to, in large part, to the inconsistencies in what should have happened in the investigation process and what really happened in the investigation process.

Remember, the lead detective initially did not want to let the defendant go home that night/early morning.

At least eight burglaries were reported within Twin Lakes in the 14 months prior to the Trayvon Martin shooting, according to the Sanford Police Department. Yet in a series of interviews, Twin Lakes residents said dozens of reports of attempted break-ins and would-be burglars casing homes had created an atmosphere of growing fear in the neighborhood.

In several of the incidents, witnesses identified the suspects to police as young black men. Twin Lakes is about 50 percent white, with an African-American and Hispanic population of about 20 percent each, roughly similar to the surrounding city of Sanford, according to U.S. Census data.

One morning in July 2011, a black teenager walked up to Zimmerman's front porch and stole a bicycle, neighbors told Reuters. A police report was taken, though the bicycle was not recovered.

But it was the August incursion into the home of Olivia Bertalan that really troubled the neighborhood, particularly Zimmerman. Shellie was home most days, taking online courses towards certification as a registered nurse.
On August 3, Bertalan was at home with her infant son while her husband, Michael, was at work. She watched from a downstairs window, she said, as two black men repeatedly rang her doorbell and then entered through a sliding door at the back of the house. She ran upstairs, locked herself inside the boy's bedroom, and called a police dispatcher, whispering frantically.
"I said, 'What am I supposed to do? I hear them coming up the stairs!'" she told Reuters. Bertalan tried to coo her crying child into silence and armed herself with a pair of rusty scissors.

Police arrived just as the burglars - who had been trying to disconnect the couple's television - fled out a back door. Shellie Zimmerman saw a black male teen running through her backyard and reported it to police.

After police left Bertalan, George Zimmerman arrived at the front door in a shirt and tie, she said. He gave her his contact numbers on an index card and invited her to visit his wife if she ever felt unsafe. He returned later and gave her a stronger lock to bolster the sliding door that had been forced open.

"He was so mellow and calm, very helpful and very, very sweet," she said last week. "We didn't really know George at first, but after the break-in we talked to him on a daily basis. People were freaked out. It wasn't just George calling police ... we were calling police at least once a week."

The little indiscrpencys in GZ story are not big enough to amount to anything JD other Prosecutors and Defense Lawyers have already stated that and the fact that he has taken self defense classes mean nothing, cause his resume stated he wanted to be a Defense Lawyer and not a "Wana be cop". Anyone with a conceal carry in FL knows the laws and how they work...

Have you ever heard the phrase, "Where there's smoke, there's a fire?"

This case should never have been wrapped up in a few hours, or even a couple of days of investigating.

I am glad that news media outlets, all across this country, from NBC, BBC, to FOX reported on this and made the general public aware of this tragedy.
