How many times have we heard the saying "like father like son" and "like mother, like daughter"....... in many cases, not always, but many cases, that is the truth.... I'm still in the early stages of motherhood, my oldest is just now 11 ... and I've already made mistakes.... so none of us are ever going to be perfect.... but when you can see your children grown, raising families of their own, and you can say they are great kids..... my hat's off to you!

You we have the recovery house that visit often.
These women do not even have a clue that they shouldn't be with a man that doesn't hold a job let alone hold a door open for them.
Many in this generation are missing simple basic instructions on how to treat each other. It is as if manners are lost almost altogether-

My husband told me before I married him - "I don't want to misrepresent myself to you. I will never wash a dish. If that bothers you, then we can't get married."
He washed a frying pan sometime last year. My daughter happened to be over and had her camera with her!!!!

I think thats why I don't like men. I was raised by a single mom who was constantly telling me how to treat my girlfriends, what to and not to do and when to do it. How to respect them. Growing up I would watch other guys with their girlfriends and wonder why the girl was putting up with it or wasting her time. Then I get to go through ole sad song of "be a man" , "who wears the pants" and blah blah blah.
I need my truck. Without it I can't go to work, get food, go to church, etc. So I take special care of it. The same with my home and myself.
God didn't create woman on a whim or as an after thought. God created woman for man, because man needs woman. Man should thus take special care of woman. And then some.
