That is what they did to Jesus - the definition of "buffet".

It is much more powerful, in my eyes, to see God change a person by their own relationship with Him.
If we teach His Word the way He wants it taught we fall in love and we worship and grow.
God has never been ugly to me, even when He corrected me in prayer.

Why some women who have been around a long time still dress like a harlot is a mystery too!

Because the men with their "visual" problems make us gravitate to being vain.

No one calls a mans wife a whore over the puplit.
|
Well, he didn't call her name, just pointed to her.
And I wouldn't lift my hand against the man, since i actually believe what the Scripture teaches about that.
I knew the truth, she knew the truth, and time vindicates all things.
God fights your battles for you if you keep your spirit right, Coop. Nobody ever said it would always be easy.

Are they?
How can you have one without the other?
You are either modest, and wear dresses. OR you are immodest, and wear pants.
Immodest:
Not modest; specifically: not conforming to the sexual mores of a particular time or place.
Not modest in conduct, utterance, etc.; indecent; shameless.
Offending against sexual mores in conduct or appearance; indecent:
Immodesty's final result would have to be 'sleazy'. Why else would you want to avoid appearing immodest?

This from a pulpit.
That was a little tough to swallow.
But we didn't go chatismatic over it.

What did you do? Just wondering how you handled it. I know you didn't lose your cool.

That's not Biblical, Cooper! Put on your Wranglers and go for a ride, Cowboy!
My husband did say that we are here to guide sheep, not work cattle, if that is any consolation to you. But, he just said it to me.
