Just another example of why the Republican philosophy is so dangerous.

If climate change is a hoax, and we have nothing to worry about... why aren't they being proactive to prevent us from ever facing such a crisis?

You see, even if climate change isn't a reality, they are still all for increasing the use of fossil fuels, which will eventually lead to a crisis.

So, frankly, if climate change isn't a reality right now... it will be if we continue down the road the Republicans are carving out for us.

Re: Libs are against free speech

Honestly, the Republicans are all about business. Many are supported by massive corporate construction and development groups. Frankly, they might want climate change...they will capitalize off of it into the hundreds of billions of dollars, maybe even into the trillions of dollars should sea levels rise and wipe out coastal cities.

I don't doubt for one minute that the Republican Party would put untold millions of people in danger to help their corporate buddies make that kind of cash.

From the coldest part of the last ice age (roughly 20,000 years ago) to present, global sea level has risen an astounding 120 metres.

Did you see that?
In 20,000 years the sea level has increased 120 meters!
But no, we are the only ones who can start and stop it...

So, according to that data, isn't the NOAA's projected one meter rise in sea level by 2100 nearly twice what we should be seeing?

If we were honest, we would say something that sounds utterly shocking and no doubt will be taken out of context and lead to hysteria on the part of the usual suspects, but the fact of the matter is that today’s Republican Party qualify as candidates for the most dangerous organization in human history. Literally.
To clarify the statement Noam Chomsky said:
I also said that it’s an extremely outrageous statement. But the question is whether it’s true. I mean, has there ever been an organization in human history that is dedicated, with such commitment, to the destruction of organized human life on Earth? Not that I’m aware of. Is the Republican organization—I hesitate to call it a party—committed to that? Overwhelmingly. There isn’t even any question about it.

Take a look at the last primary campaign—plenty of publicity, very little comment on the most significant fact. Every single candidate either denied that what is happening is happening—namely, serious move towards environmental catastrophe—or there were a couple of moderates, so-called—Jeb Bush, who said, "Maybe it’s happening. We really don’t know. But it doesn’t matter, because fracking is working fine, so we can get more fossil fuels." Then there was the guy who was called the adult in the room, John Kasich, the one person who said, "Yes, it’s true. Global warming’s going on. But it doesn’t matter." He’s the governor of Ohio. "In Ohio, we’re going to go on using coal for energy, and we’re not going to apologize for it." So that’s 100 percent commitment to racing towards disaster.
Here's a video where he discusses this critique of the Republican Party:

If you think Trump is a Fascist, then you clearly do not understand what a Fascist is. The modern American Democrat Party more closely resembles Fascism that anything in recent history.

So we ignore it until the problem is real?

That makes me wonder, is the Republican Party dangerous or just stupid? Maybe, it's both.
