PO - most of the people I know supported Cruz. I know of several who started out supporting Trump, but most of them also moved to Cruz.
With that said, I have found it disturbing that most "big-name" evangelicals were cozying up to Trump.
I believe in this election that the Lord might be giving us the leader we deserve.
I also wonder if this is the Lord's way of showing us that the Republicans are not the salvation of this country and maybe the Church needs to flee politics and concentrate on saving souls.
Now, with all of that I will probably still vote for Trump.

I believe we should always be focusing on winning the lost. It doesn't mean we have to flee politics in order to do that. I certainly agree, as with anything, we have to remain circumspect about it.
If the Bible instructs us to pray for our leaders, it stands to reason that in that prayer, someone is going to feel compelled to become involved. We can't leave it all up to the Liberals and Atheists, etc. to run and control public office.
There is no possible way that I could vote for Donald Trump. He has gone too far with his lies and hatefulness toward the other candidates. Especially, still doubling done on Ted Cruz who he now hates for not bowing down to him. On the Republican side of things, this is not the statesman I would respect or have confidence in.
If Trump is already softening on illegal immigration, to the great applause of the GOPe, what else will he change to be the "malleable" candidate that even Jimmy Carter said he would be?
Think about it - He stood on the primary stage, taller than anyone, louder than anyone, coming down hard on illegal immigration - his signature campaign theme - taking everyone out while calling Ted Cruz a liar, along with our good Esaias here, when Cruz used a political maneuver to stop the Gang of 8. AND NOW, Trump goes soft on all that loud, bloviating hot mess of a Primary.
Nope, I believe that the Republicans would fight harder against Hillary than they would Donald Trump, which makes Trump more dangerous than Hillary.
I won't vote for either of these two horrible characters.
