Issa was instrumental in this process and can also be credited with this progress. This is huge.

House FAILS to pass CR that re-opens National Parks and Memorials during Shutdown. 2/3 were needed. FINAL VOTE: 252-176.

It's on the Democrats is all I can say.

This might be a stupid question, but....

If the government is shut down, how did Obamacare/online enrollment still "roll out" today?

I thought that if the government shut down, that meant people couldn't apply for government *anything* in the interim?

Kathleen Sebelius stated that shutdown or no shutdown, they were going to enroll people.

The government shut down is a joke, as one blogger put it, ordering a diet coke with a big mac meal, 80% of the federal gov't will run like always. Scare tactics. Sometimes I wish all those clowns would quit.
