Re: Question For UPC Pastors and Elders
And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him.
Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

Bert, you really need to learn the way of forums and the art of having discussions.
First of all, everyone here is on even footing. The AFF isn't a personal pulpit; it's more akin to dinnertime conversation with a group of your friends.
Secondly, if you make any assertions, you should back them with scripture, and you should be prepared to present persuasive arguments as to why your viewpoint is preferable above all others. That is, if you want to be taken seriously. Opinions are a dime a dozen as another poster put it, and yours are no more important here than anyone else's. What is important is what scripture has to say on any matter, so if you want your views to be important, you must prove them with the Bible. Questions aren't disrespectful. They are intended to uncover your reasoning, and a fear of questions is indicative more often than not of a lack of well-thought-out positions. Questions become a threat, then, instead of enhancing the conversation.
Finally, respect must be mutual and it is earned. You will gain respect by being respectful and respectable, and you don't automatically garner it by coming here and claiming to be God's anointed. We don't know you. We don't know if you're anointed or not. And even if you are anointed, your words are only as powerful as the scripture that backs them, so we are back to my other points.
You'll have a much more pleasant time here if you comprehend and follow these guidelines. :coffee2

Re: Question For UPC Pastors and Elders
You can't take me seriously.
None of you can.
It is not the will of God.
