Hardly the case. I believe it is more a knee jerk response, when angelic people are asked certain questions. They know that they shouldn't be watching movies that are PG-13, or R rated, but they do it anyway and when someone asks them waz up, they get nasty. No biggie, we can deal with it.
Don't get mad at me.
lol...you just betrayed yourself. I agree with him. It wasn't just an honest question as though you just did not know. Your point was you don't think any Christian should watch Star Trek because it doesn't have anything to do with the gospel. Why didn't you just state that instead of playing coy?

Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
Every sinner must repent of their sins.
That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.
I have talked, argued even, with people on more conservative message boards, ultra conservative even, who felt ANY story was wrong if it was not a retelling of a bible story.

Or any activity...has to make you wonder if they ever bathe.

If you go back and read what I posted I never said I have never argued a subject on a forum.
No, you said that the movie enhances a Christian walk as much as visiting here and arguing with someone who watches movies. So I tried to point out that the forum was a discussion board that has different views argued.
Also tried to point out that you and I have argued, and have been on both sides of the same issues at times. Anyway I was asking a question to get my discussion going.

Just asking a question.
Hey I don't want to be buried in a Pet Semetary, do you all watch Stephen King flicks?

I answered, remember? Then you offered some advice about my car, remember? Gotta love discussions!
Just remember it's dixie crystals and you need to do it when you are almost on empty. Then fill up the tank with gas. You will be able to go for about 6 to ten miles before the fuel systems locks up solid.
Don't try this at home.
