I have a guy in our church who has an amazing collection of old books that are no longer being printed. He has decided to set up a web site where he is coying these books onto the web and making them available to whoever might have interest. Some of you preachers might want to check it out.

Thanks TB for sharing this with us!

We always had electricity as long as I remember, but I clearly remember the day we got running water in the house. Before that the only running water at our place was my brother and I running between the well and the house with a bucket in each hand. I always dreaded the days when it was my turn to clean out the outhouse. That's right folks, I'm just a good ole country boy married to a sophisticated city girl.

I'm just glad you came down out of the tree!

Your comments here invoked a mental picture of being on Monkey Mountain in Hong Kong with our children. The monkeys are roaming freely everywhere and visitors like ourselves would be tossing them peanuts as they would swing from tree branch to tree branch. I always found them so fascinating, but sometimes they were frightening as well.

If it wasn't for the Police, they wouldn't have any tourism there at all.

It takes flashing red and blue lights to convince most people to stop their car anywhere between Fredericton and Miramichi City.

You made me smile...whenever we go to a zoo, my wife can't get me away from the monkey cage, ha!!! I wonder why that is. I got my moniker from her when we went to the San Diego zoo and they superimposed my pic alongside an orangutan...we looked like brothers!!! A couple of the sunday school kids overheard her and that was it! It also made a good radio name, he he!

How long did you serve in Hong Kong and did you struggle with the culture?

Greg shared with me this morning that the Cruso who wrote some of the books listed on his site, was the inspiration for Daniel DeFoes' Robinson Crusoe. Apparently they attended school together.

Why don't you add this in The Shopping Mall area so it won't get lost in here.

You haven't really been to the Miramichi until you've jacked deer in Holtville (and tithed your kill to the preacher), took a ride over Holt's Hill in McNamee, talked to someone from the backside of Storeytown, worked in the woods just long enough to get your stamps, netted 10x the limit of smelt at Renous (after church on a Sunday night), and bought fresh salmon out of season in Grey Rapids.
