It really cracks me up when posters like Jekyll and COON get on here and quote Felicity posts and give KUDOS to a nice Christian lady who has bobbed hair, wears make-up, ear-bobs and pantaloons!

As long as she posts on the "RIGHT" it's all good! LOL

And now it's MY TURN to give KUDOS to Mrs. FELICITY!

This is a great post! BRAVO!!!

You women are hilarious!!! :christmasj ig

LOL.

Well if you look at it pragmatically that's kind of what it looks like.

Oh well, everyone has opinions. Nobody seems to have any real answers.

Dora,

You could stand to take few lessons in deprtment from Felicity.

I don't agree with all her conclusions about some things, and she knows this very well.

But I have this strange quirk...I find it easy be nice to nice people. I guess I'm funny that way.

Ok...here I go being conspiratorial! I'm wondering if UPCI headquarters have "people" who are in charge of reading all internet forums pertaining to UPCI issues.

Do they have a UPCI GEEK SQUAD? Wonder if they get to drive those cute little black and white Mini cars like the movie "The Italian Job." LOLOL

They must be working OVERTIME these days!

I've asked before and got NO answer as to how this new Tulsa deal is going to look or feel any different from the UPC and how it will be any different from the UPC in real and tangible ways 10 years down the road.

There was no answer. Selah.

I agree that this is more about carnality than anything having to do with the spirit of God. I know this sounds rude, but it just sounds like lil children who won't play the games the way I want it to play so I am taking my toys and i'm going somewhere else to play. and the other children are saying, fine, we don't like you anyway and we don't wanna play with you either.

Please forgive me because I realize I just spoke of the ministry and I don't like that... ...A wise, conservative pastor told us that he doesn't like the direction the UPC is heading. But as he sees it, there isn't any other organization that is any better so he is going to stay put. He doesn't agree with all the things that go on, so he doesn't participate. He is conservative but doesn't have a little whole in the wall church either. It is a growing church. Each time I visit there I see at least 10-15 visitors, if not more...Every service... Then when I return again, the new members have developed a life with God and they are becoming established... and still there are more and more visitors... His focus is right... He isn't becoming all outraged because of what is going on... He is keeping his eye on the city full of lost souls all around him! He did say that if he were to leave, then he would leave with the right attitude! I commend men like this... If you do decide to leave, don't make issue... let brotherly love continue!

Simply googling the Worldwide Pentecostal Fellowship site will tell you that they're using PHP (hint: look at the URLs). The default name for an index page in PHP is "page.php." So since you know it's not IIS, just add the "page.php" and Voilà! I suppose Elfin is smarter than me and probably just typed in "page.php" as his first guess. My first guess is always "index.html" and BOOMM scolds me for that.

I guess you'd have to have some experience in web design to know about default index pages and such. But the pages are just sitting there on the web so there's no technical hacking involved. The site doesn't have any navigation on its home page, that's not "protection" by anyone's definition. And "hacking" generally means defeating someone else's protection. Elfin's statement, "I found a way to get into the website..." only meant that he had "discovered" that there were other pages available on the server. I don't know Elfin, but it may also be that he surprised himself. But "hacking" it was NOT. The pages weren't even hidden.

Also, the committee lists appear to be scans of printed flyers. They even seem to have glare on them like the original paper was either slightly reflective or translucent with a reflective backing.

I'd guess that somebody has a stack of these in a box awaiting distribution, or they've just got the prototype and are so giddy to get started that they've put it up on the web already.

But why is the list still there, even after all the flack? Did the web monkey forget his password and now he can't clean it up like the Bible Quizzing site before? Unlikely. It seems that the list makers are satisfied with their work so far and are now moving toward that brighter Apostolic future that they intend to unveil.
What did you say, again? I don't know that language!

Yes, it does and that's been mentioned before and raised a lot of folks blood pressure.

Guess it just matters who says it.
