I DID watch the JS clip and I don't like all that I saw and certainly don't agree with everything I heard.
I've heard all but one of these women you named speak and all of them raised their voices, screamed/hollered, emphasized, got excited and even stomped their feet and slapped the pulpit.

I didn't find any of it to be out of order or unbecoming.

I think JS was very much in the flesh personally. But again, this is my personal opinion.

I am extremely hesitant to say something is not of God.

I know He works in mysterious ways and I would never want to say it is not of Him unless He moves me to say it.

I think a lot of this is opinions, and there in lies deception IF we are not careful.

I may not like the style of a man's preaching, but I would be hesitant to say He is not used of God.

Now IF they are spouting things contrary to the Word that is whole nother story.

LadyREv I think we have a double standard going on here.

Oh okay. Well I haven't.

I think it can get to a point where it's unbecoming and un-ladylike as we think of it.

Eating the fruit from that tree probably didn't sound too threatening to Eve when the serpent suggested it.

Feminism is, at least in part, about erasing the distinctions (beyond the physiological) between male and female. Feminism wants to do away with the very notion of men's roles and women's roles. This is contrary to God's created design for male and female.

Now Esther..........

I never said she wasn't of God and it's not so much about style either. And goodness, a person doesn't have to be under "anointing" as we usually think of it to teach and say good things. It happens all the time here on these forums.

I just didn't "feel" for what that's worth any anointing on that clip where she was talking about the two powers.

I never said you did, but what's his name did!

I'm just saying to me for anyone to claim something/someone is not of God you surely must be careful in doing so.

LadyRev,

Does the forum affect you to where you simply want to stay in bed also?

I am resigning myself to stay off this thread. I think it unlady like, uncouth and ungodly to tear down a person's ministry based on their style.

I am amazed at the audicity of some that do.

It is no wonder so few women venture into the arena. It is probably harder to have one's feminity attacked then any other thing.

Oh okay. I mistakenly thought you were referring to what I said.

Well, you know how it goes. Sometimes people have issues with people and then judgments are formed that aren't always correct!
