Sometimes if something is going on and you need to move fast and don't have time to sign in as Admin, then if I post....."I'm saying this as Admin, please refrain from doing whatever", then I have my admin hat on and the response to that post would need to considered they are responding to Admin.
Does that make sense?

This practice is instrumental to the future success of this forum ...
the ability to compartmentalize, not take things personally and act objectively will improve morale.
Also if a mod is posting in a heated debate as a poster ... another uninvolved admin/mod should be asked to referee the situation, JMO

That is usually the way we do it.

I have spoken with the head cheese and all is well. He put salve on my wounds and fed me. I told him making a public statement wouldn't be necessary as I would be the one making the statement.
I want to publicly apologize to the admins and forum for any wrongdoing on my part during my time as a poster here. I've been here for a long time and have made wonderful friendships that will last the rest of my years that I wouldn't have made if it weren't for this forum (speaking of the forum at large, which includes any and all since the time of Jim Yohe). It's never been my intention to be a troublemaker here and for that, I deeply am sorry.
I also want to thank the admins for the thankless job they do here. I think that, while mistakes are made (and he who doesn't make them, let him cast the first stone), overall, they do a tremendous job.
I want to thank all my friends for their encouragement and support. You are all great people.
Special thanks to my friend, LadyRev. She watches over me in so many ways, and I love her bulldog tenacity (honestly folks, her bark is WAY worse than her bite!).
Everyone can now take a deep breath and continue with their regularly scheduled argu....er....discussions.
Love you all.
