How could this person stay saved in prison?

With me personally - if I were locked in a cell with no communication and no influence from the outside world it wouldn't be so hard in my opinion. Now if I am living in the world with constant influences and circumstances and working and interacting with the outside 24/7 and never going to church - I probably wouldn't have the strength - but that is just me. I love the church and the worship and fellowship and I wouldn't trade it for the world. If I were in prison my biggest and probably only fault would be fighting depression, but hopefully with God I would overcome it.

Its not easy because in prison things go on due to the element that is there but God is still God.Yes he can make it.

And you would stand by those "religious rights" never being revoked in the future? I can think of other era's of time when those religious rights were not extended to people in prisons (wartime, etc). Who it to say those days would never come again?

Since this isn't a real person whats the point? Its only an excuse to argue.Count me out.I live in a real world and in this real world we still
have our rights according to the constitution.So arguing is pointless.

I thought you were referring to those who left the church because of such leaders, implying that they would not be justified in doing so. My point is that they would not be leaving the church at all, that such a pastor is not pastoring a true assembly of believers or a true chuch at all. Anyone has the right to leave such a place, perhaps to search for a true church, or perhaps to work out their own salvation in the privacy of their own home or with a handful of fellow believers.
