I don't need to chill out, I'm simply pointing to what Trump supporters are ignoring which will likely become a big issue in the next few years.
You just don't like it because it's something negative about your idol.

His spokeswoman denied yesterday that top secret security clearance has been asked for for family members.

I will remain 100% skeptical until I see how the Conservative, Ted Cruz is treated by this Administration.

Oh that Zel miller who made a real push to get the " Gay Games" to come to Atlanta? The one that obsessed over his State flag?

Hold up. You're bringing stuff up from 1999 (Gay Games) and the mid-90s (GA State flag), yet you say all the liberal leanings of Trump from the mid-2000s aren't relevant and shouldn't be held against him?
I'm talking about the Zell Miller who is pro-life, who co-sponsored the federal marriage amendment and who was a speaker at Justice Sunday. Senator Zell Miller was more conservative than your POTUS-elect. Trump supports LGBTQ and PP. He's a social liberal, like most NY politicians with NY values.
Now, don't be a hypocrite and dredge up the old, liberal leanings of Zell Miller, who became a conservative Democrat as a Senator; all while defending Trump from his more recent liberal support from the mid-2000s!

Ok, since you say so.
Truth is, and you know it, I was overjoyed Hillary lost. That was the source of my elation. Since Trump was our only chance to defeat her, I was happy to support and defend him. When the #NeverTrump movement seemed strong and potentially damaging to DT's candidacy you made this place miserable for those of us who felt so passionately against an HRC presidency. You and others questioned our Christianity for supporting him.
So the victory lap had nothing to do with my adoration of DT. It had to do more with giving you your come uppance.

It's called a State Dinner, not a cozy talk in the opulent living room of the Trump Towers. If this was simply social, where was Jared? He's not in the picture. Oh, he's in other photos of them greeting the Japanese PM, but he's not with Ivanka in the photos of the meeting.
|
The Oracle has spoken!
All conjecture, postulating, and wild fantasy. Explain to me please how you know all of these details by looking at a picture? You've made up your mind about Trump and he couldn't floss his teeth without you finding fault with the way he does it.
Quote:
That remains to be seen. During the campaign you defended every single despicable thing, every lie, every misogynistic and racist thing Trump said - you defended. You didn't once call Trump out for any of that. So pardon me if I'm a bit skeptical you'll do so with Trump as POTUS.
|
That's a falsehood. I didn't defend stupid things he said. I simply pointed out that in my opinion what HRC had done by comparison was far more dangerous to our country. I want Trump to do well as president but I'm no sycophant.
Quote:
There you go again, trying to claim I'm an idiot because I don't agree with you or praise your idol -- "without any measure of common sense." You're like 0, arrogant, as though only your opinions are right and superior.
|
You tell me; is it sensible to say that the Trump presidency will be more corrupt than the Clintons when he just got elected 10 days ago, and hasn't even spent a second as POTUS? How can you judge what he will do before he's even started? In my opinion that is lacking any common sense.
Quote:
We'll see how the Trump administration unfolds. A normal person can see potential hazards, conflicts and issues with the POTUS-elect still being involved with his company and the Trump Foundation. Especially since the POTUS-elect openly bragged about bribing politicians during the campaign.
|
Saying potential hazards or conflicts is one thing. There is potential for great good as well. But you don't couch your posts in hypotheticals. You state things as though it's fact, provable, and set in stone. Big difference.

But mock on, it's a long rope and there are years to go before you'll either find yourself with a lasso or a noose.

Well, given the massive amounts of mockery you despensed here from 2015-2016, I would think you could expect those you taunted to feel a sense of gratification that you had to eat a full ten-course crow meal.
If I eventually have to tie a dead-man's knot I'll be sure to contact you. You did a masterful job of hanging yourself Nov 8.

Please quote the post where I allegedly did this. I never questioned your Christianity for supporting Trump.

Do you see Jared in the picture? Also, the Trump team spoke to the press about the meeting, defending Ivanka being present in the meeting. There was no mention of Jared being in the meeting, only Ivanka. So apparently your own POTUS-elect's team is full of conjecture and wild fantasy as well.

You never once called him out on the stupid things he said. You constantly defended him. "Pointing out" your opinion that Hillary did worse was a form of defending him.

You tell me, DB. As you say, he was elected 10 days ago, yet you've been singing the praises of a POTUS-elect who hasn't set foot in the Oval -- and someone who hasn't kept a political position for any serious length of time. I guess you lack any common sense as well.

Sure, there's always potential for good. As I've done with obama, I'll do with Trump. If he does well, I'll acknowledge it. Unfortunately, Trump showed over and over again during the campaign that he's more apt to fall into a hazard or conflict than do good. I'm simply going by his record when I post that his administration will be corrupt. Trump has always been associated with some sort of scandal or conflict.

I ate crow, I didn't hang myself. I'm very much alive and taking notes.

News reporting that Mike Huckabee has been named the Ambassador to Israel.
Not sure if I believe the tweets I'm seeing or not. Haven't seen anything official yet.
