The only thing you can do is find out if he named each of the tractors. You could be coy about it and say, "Oh, I love the color green!! And I've heard that tractors are special to the owners. So special that they, sometimes, give them names. Do you have names for these tractors?" Very sweetly, Emma - very sweetly.

If he calls one of them Vanessa, well, I don't need to tell you what to do next. I mean, you have a building that already smells and someone may not notice...well....
He named it 2320. Does that count?

This is the BEST idea, Mary. Yes, that is the best thing I could do. I would save him from himself. I would put steel on the and burn the rubber in a fire pit. Hopefully, he wouldn't go out and simply buy new tires, but, maybe this way he would not be in the ban.

Tell him not to join mine I don't want him to get too messed up. He's already gone off the deep end thinking he should trade a horse for a tractor. I'll take the horse if it's 15 hands high.

How "BROAD", (now that's a good word) does it have to be across the hips?

Yes, that is off the deep end, especially with the price of gas now. Grass is cheaper.

And besides all that the tractor won't fertilize the fields either!
