so once again with feeling, ANY attempt to suggest that a woman should be held to a different standard than a man given that the family is a 2 parent family is sexist and in this case hypocritical.

you are guilty of both. your arguments are hollow at best.

unless you will admit that Obama needs to go home and raise his kids, then you have no leg to stand on.

I am going to pull out the "Al Gore argument" here. The debate is over.

there is no debate. you have been in this thread duplicitous. period.

oh, didn't see this before!

I am not making the suggestion that you are saying I am making.

I am suggesting that she corrects herself before she further wrecks herself.

There are things that she needs to get in order, at home.

Things that President Obama does not have going on within his home.

But we can continue this tomorrow.

Take care, bro.

Any attempt to steer this thread away from that just proves my point that there is no reason for her to be called, "victim."

As for my comment about her going and raising her children is because of the hot mess that is happening with her daughter, who lives with her still and that guy who sired Sarah's grand child.

It's very messy, politically and otherwise.

Most, if not all of her attention should be going in that direction-- or is this stuff not important enough for her?

And she is supposed to be a Spirit filled Pentecostal too?

Where is the conviction that tells her to get things right with her family, first and foremost?
Do you feel Pastors should step down when their daughters become pregnant? Or just the women?

My opinions and perceptions of Sarah are shared by thousands-- I am not the only one tired of her complaining.

"She's such a victim!"
Victim my toe!!!!
When exactly did you change your opinion on her?

Because as far back as early September 2008 you said...

Re: Affirmative Action 4 Sarah!

Ronald Reagans kids were a trianwreck.

Nobody said he needed to get things right at home before he could be president.

This line of arguement is sexists, bigoted and hypocritical....

Like I said, anyone wanting to take shots at her for her political flubs and her misteps with media, have at it. It is fair game. Even if I dont agree with a particular attack along those lines, it is fair game.

but when you bring in family and sexist stuff like the News week cover this week, it is duplicitous at best.

Wink Re: Affirmative Action 4 Sarah!

I'm sure it's already been discussed, But, since she is just an unknown woman from Alaska , why is everyone so worried about her??

If she breathes someone is watching and takes notes.

There are many that would be willing to pay for this much attention.

The big question....Why is she seen as a threat?

Honestly, I wouldn't blame him if he did, but if he didn't, I would make a conscience effort not to put my mouth on him or the situation, because of his position.

If that same pastor made various public missteps, had the pregnant out of wedlock daughter who still lived with him and his wife and all of the stuff is being played out in a very public manner, it undermines his leadership and ministry-- I would expect his to step down or I would leave his church.

If my Pastor had the same drama being played out in the same manner, with the same embarrassing missteps that Sarah has had, I would not be a member of his church.

God is not the author of confusion and this woman's life SCREAMS confusion!

Sarah and the issues of her private life are undermining and she should fix those things before endeavoring to continue in the public light-- especially she is the "Poster Child" for the political party that champions "Family Values".
